Living in Nicaragua is a voyage to the past without leaving the present.  The main cities: the capital Managua, Leon, and Granada offer all the amenities of a modern city. 

You have the beach towns of San Juan del Sur and Montilamar  resort on the Pacific side.  The fishing villages of Bluefields and Peurto Cabeza.  Esteli, a town in a high valley, bordered with mountains 1500-meter high. Ometepe island in Lake Nicaragua, The Sweet Sea because of the presence of tuna and sharks adapted to freshwater life. Ometepe is so much on the laps of nature.  On the north side you have the active volcano Concepcion.  The south side is Madaras an extinct volcano of the past, from many centuries ago.
