The Importance of Insurance in Nicaragua

Notice of Loss

Documents:

The Insured agrees to deliver to the Company's Certification of Traffic Police to find the intervention of the authority and any other documents or proof that request, and any judicial ruling that it may determine liability.

All documents required by the Company. The insured must be submitted within 30 days following the occurrence of the accident or within the Company specifically been granted in writing.

Failure to submit this documentation on time, free from any liability to the Company. Also, the company must send immediately upon receipt, any claim, certificate, subpoena or order relating to any claim that was filed against him or the Company.

Complete documentation

The insured will deliver at the time of the incident the following documents:

  1. Official notice signed by the insured accident and the driver of the vehicle (72 hours)
  2. Traffic Original Certificate / Report
  3. Circulation Photocopy Card
  4. If circulation is not a named insured, a copy of the deed of sale
  5. Photocopy of Drivers License (if he was fined, a copy of the ballot)
  6. Copy of Certificate of the Insured or RUC in case of legal persons
Budgets-Estimates
  1. If the insured vehicle is over three years old must complete and sign chosen workshop format selected by the insured and bring the budget of labor and selected parts of the workshop.
  2. If the vehicle is three years or less must submit labor and parts budget from an auto-body shop.
Inspection

Inspections are preformed by Insured Vehicle Inspection Metropolitana. Should the vehicle be in-operable the company should be notified and indicate the address of the vehicle location to make the inspection of the vehicle.
