On the Caribbean coast you will find the Port of Rama, from here you will boat across the interesting Hidden river to Bluefields. Bluefields has both a municipal wharf and plus private wharfs. Form here it is possible to obtain launches or pangas to travel to the paradise of the Corn Islands, la Laguna de Perlas and the Rama Kay.

The major rivers also have boat service.
