Montelimar Nicaragua, - Montelimar Nicaragua offers a holiday in a mild tropic climate on a beach full of activities and life. The beaches of Montelimar have four surfing breaks in a three KM area. Masa Chapa, Melon, Pochomil and Pochomil Viejo all offer fabulous surfing adventures. The private beaches, bungalows, hotels and resorts at Montelimar offer rich activities, great Nicaraguan seafood, music and wine.

This is one of the areas the Nicaraguan government has made an effort to develop the tourism infrastructure facilities. Paved roads are being constructed in all areas, together with better Internet and telephone facilities. English is being to the locals to help alleviate the problems of unemployment and related stress. Not to mention making it easier on those of us whose Spanish is not quite up to par. But you know the locals are absolutely great with helping us get over that barrier. Unbelievably helpful.

Exotic beaches clearly are the main attraction in Montelimar. Perfect for swimming, surfing and diving. Should the ocean not be conducive to swimming there is the huge swimming pool or you can try your hands at activities like disco, casino, tennis, volleyball, horse ride, water-sports etc. You can sample plenty a drink from the bar, alcoholic nor non-alcoholic.

For spelunkers, along the beach is Montelimar Cave, with its petroglyphs. These prehistoric figures are drawn in blue and red pigments. The loose protection of this prehistoric cave throws it into shambles. Vandalism and lime mining by local cement factories have almost decided the fate of Montelimar Cave.

Apart from the tourism industry, infrastructure development, investments in telecommunications including Internet, traveling facilities all are on growing stage. Investors also think about investing in real estate in Montelimar, for its potential of becoming a low-cost tourism destination that could attract masses.

Montelimar’s proximity with capital Managua ensures less traveling time to and from Managua International Airport. Visiting Montelimar can be a tough decision to make. But once here, you will surely enjoy the life and warmth of the places and the attitude of the people.
